Nothing is stored until you press save

While you are answering questions and looking at your figures, your answers live only in this browser tab. Close the tab and they are gone. We do not save as you type, we do not save when you move between pages, and we do not save when you leave.

What a saved scenario holds

When you press “Save this scenario” we store the name you gave it, the answers you gave (pay, bonus, pension, household, where you plan to live and the costs you chose), and the figures we worked out from them on that day, along with the tax year and the versions of the rules and cost figures used. Your account holds your email address so you can sign back in.

Signing in with Google

If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile information (name and profile picture URL) from Google. We use the email address to identify your account. We do not request access to your contacts, calendar, files or any other Google data.

Where it lives, and who can see it

Saved scenarios are stored in a Supabase database hosted in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany). Only you can read them: the database checks on every request that the row belongs to the signed-in account.

The app itself is hosted by Lovable, which runs on Cloudflare's network. That means Cloudflare handles your requests as they travel between your device and us, wherever in the world you are. Anything you save comes to rest in the EU database above.

How to delete it

Delete a scenario on the saved scenarios page and it is gone for good — there is no archive copy. To remove everything, delete your account on the account page; that removes your sign-in and every scenario with it.

Requests about your data are handled in the app — delete a scenario, or delete your account. If you need something else, email support@panacea-technology.com.

The optional area estimate

If we hold no cost figures for the place you name, you can choose — it is off unless you ask for it — to have an estimate suggested. That sends at most 80 characters of the area text you typed through Lovable's AI gateway to Google's Gemini model, which may process it outside the EU. It never sends your salary, your pension, your household or anything else about you, and the estimate is never written into our cost reference figures.
